From Jeddah to Dammam
01 Jeddah
Welcome to Saudi Arabia! A transfer to the hotel. At the end of the day we will take a walk through its historic center, better known as Al-Balad, with its impressive set of medieval alleys and its houses made of coral and wooden balconies.
02 Jeddah.
A city tour of Jeddah, during which we will explore this city of astonishing contrasts. A tour along the Corniche, we will see the King Fahd Fountain, we will visit the fish market, the Al Taybat International City Museum, the historic center, the Eve cemetery. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the Al Rahma Mosque, better known as the floating mosque.
03 Jeddah - Medina
Departure by road to the holy and pilgrimage city of Medina. We will walk around the immense Al Masjid an Nabawi Mosque. Then we head towards the Uhud mountain, an important pilgrimage site. We continue to the Quba Mosque and, walking, we reach the nearby garden and well of Ethiq. Free time in the city center. At dusk we will go again to the Al Masjid Mosque. Dinner included.
04 Medina - Buraidah
Departure to Buraidah, in the east of the country. We will visit the Al Oqilat Museum revealing the traditions of Arabia. We will also go to “the city of the date” and will be able to taste this sweet fruit of the palm tree. After that we will have time to walk through the city center with its vegetable market, its great mosque, its jewelry souks and its activity. Dinner included.
05 Buraidah - Ushaiqer - Shaqra - Al Qasab- Riyadh
Before leaving Buraidah we will visit the largest Camel Market in the world. Afterwards we will travel along the old pilgrim route, passing through historic towns in small oases. We will make a stop in Ushaiqer, where we will visit its beautiful Heritage Village. Lunch included. We will visit the ancient fortified and adobe city of Shaqra. We continue to Al Qasab, which was known since ancient times for its production of salt and wheat. In the evening we will arrive in Riyadh.
06 Riyadh
Visit of Riyadh, the capital of the kingdom, including a climb to the Kingdom Centre, the National Museum, the largest museum of the country, and the Masmak Fortress, the city´s ancient fortress. In the afternoon we will visit the Al Rajhi mosque, where we will have an introduction to Islam. At the end of the day we include a transfer and admission to Riyadh City Boulevard, full of life, numerous restaurants and the spectacle of colorful fountains.
07 Riyadh - Diriyah - Al Hofuf
On the outskirts of Riyadh, we will visit the beautiful city of Diriyah, which housed the first capital of the Saudi dynasty. After that we continue towards the Al-Ahsa Oasis, considered the largest oasis in the world. Arrival in Al Hofuf, where we will walk through the elegant souq of Al Qaisariya, one of the oldest markets in Arabia. We include an evening walk through King Abdullah Park, a pleasant park with its artificial lake and fountains that dance to the rhythm of the music. Dinner included.
08 Al Hofuf - Al Qara - Dammam
Visit of the city. We will see the Ibrahim Palace, House of Allegiance and the Mehaires Palace.Later we continue to Al Qara, a historic place of caves in the mountain, where we will visit its Land of Civilizations Museum. In the afternoon departure to the Persian Gulf. We will make a stop at the Ithra site and its very modern King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture. Arrival in the modern city of Damman. Brief stop to see the Khobar water tower and the Heritage Village, which invites us to get to know Saudi civilization. Dinner included.
09 Dammam
After breakfast, end of our services.
